Duration: One Academic Year This education pathway is structured as a creative workshop and allows participants to acquire specific competencies and realize projects under the direction of professionals of this sector. This course, not only envisages theoretical lessons, but also laboratory activities, visits to trade fairs and to the showrooms of leading fashion designers and brands in Milan, the capital of fashion. This course aims at instilling basic project tools to those who wish to begin their school career in the field of Fashion Design or desire to be admitted to the second year of a three-year course. It addresses foreign students possessing a high school diploma; other documents certifying further studies will constitute preferential elements for admission to this course.

Istituto Europeo di Design- International Office-'s Mission Statement: For over thirty years, the Istituto Europeo di Design has been operating in the fields of Education and Research in the disciplines of Design, Fashion and Visual Communication.
Today it is an international network with Seats in Milan, Rome, Turin, Madrid and Barcelona and organizes three year courses that are alternative study pathways to those offered by traditional universities, together with refresher and permanent training courses, advanced courses and post-graduate Masters degree courses.
