Description: All inclusive study abroad programs at the fully accredited University of Salamanca. Classes are taught by native instructors. Transcripts are issued by the University of Salamanca and are accompanied by an English letter of translation. API offers two-week & month-long intensive language courses, as well as trimester, semester, summer and academic year study abroad programs to beginning, intermediate, advanced, and superior level students. Semester/year programs include in language & culture, Hispanic studies, an integrated studies program in which students can take classes with native Spanish students, and an international studies program which offers courses in English. There are also graduate level classes available.

Highlights: Founded in 1218, the University of Salamanca is the oldest university in Spain, and was acknowledged by Pope Alexander IV to be one of the four great universities of the world. As a student in Salamanca, you will witness the historical nature of this moderately sized city, understand the significant role that it has played throughout Spanish history, and learn the purest form of Spanish still spoken in Spain today.
