Even though Florence has a population of half a million people, you will at once note how cozy the city feels and how easy it is to navigate. Studying for the semester or year at the Institute at Palazzo Rucellai enables you to to live and learn within the old walled city of Florence. The Institute offers courses in a wide array of subjects including art history, Italian studies, international business, history, literature, political science, psychology, and studio art. All instruction is in English except in clearly designated advanced Italian courses.

Courses follow a semester calendar with 15-week session in the fall and spring. All instruction is in English except in clearly designated advanced Italian courses. You must enroll in a 4-credit Italian language course (prior study of Italian is not required) and also choose from elective courses for a minimum of 12 credits per semester.
