Denmark Summer Program

Term: Summer 

Description: Students will have opportunities to explore Denmark, a special blend of "Scandinavian" and "European" society - historically, culturally, and politically. At Denmark International Study (DIS), you will be studying with other interested, intelligent, and serious students. Most classmates will be American, but you will also have fellow students from Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, China, and Denmark. Denmark International Study is located in Copenhagen, a combination of medieval charm and modern lifestyle and the cosmopolitan capital. Subjects for study include humanities, social sciences, international business & finance, child development & diversity, marine biology & ecology, HIV/AIDS in Western Europe, nursing in Scandinavia, and architecture & design.

Highlights: The Summer Program has several options as 6 weeks, 7 weeks, or 9 weeks. Accordingly, students will earn 6 credits, 9 credits, and 12 credits. Denmark International Study (DIS) will provide fantastic fieldtrips throughout Europe. 3.0 is a required GPA for this program.

Cost includes tuition, full use of books, some field trips, academic counseling, use of DIS facilities - library and computer lab, and insurance & student services.
