Tourism nowadays continues to grow as a vital part of economies worldwide and our Hospitality & Tourism Management programme is a good basis for students who are planning their career in a service, pleasure & business tourism or hotel & restaurant business. The aim of the programme is to qualify students to handle the functions connected to the tourism field and to supply services nationally and internationally. Students can take a Space Euro Tourism Diploma Exam along the way. Core themes: - Project Management - Internal Circumstances - Structure & Culture - Law - English - Organisational Development - Human Resource Development - Financial Management - Marketing Mix & Positioning - Market Analysis - Culture - Budgeting - Investment - Financing - Business Plan - International Economics Specialisation: we offer three study routes to choose between: - Hotel and Restaurant Management - Tourism Management or - Sports Management Methods of teaching & learning: interdisciplinary projects, study visits to enterprises, project work, class teaching, self-study and lectures. Duration: 2 years (4 semesters). Level of degree: AP Degree (a short pragmatic programme aimed at a business career); comparable to the first 2 years of a Bachelor Degree. Course structure: The programme consists of compulsory and specialisation modules; includes 13-week internship in a relevant company in Denmark or abroad. Training is arranged in cooperation with the business sector supplemented by company visits, guest lecturers, study trips and projects for specific companies. Individual planning: as a student you can streamline your career basis through the choice of specialisation. Assessment is carried out via a combination of coursework assignments, and interdisciplinary examinations. A range of methods used includes problem solving exercises, formal reports (oral, written or posters) and special assignments. Language of the course English. Career opportunities: After the completion of Hospitality & Tourism Management programme you can continue your studies abroad where you can acquire a Bachelor's Degree (BA) within 1-2 years (NOEA has a range of arrangements with foreign universities). But most graduates prefer to start their career immediately and get a job as Marketing Coordinator, Sales Assistant or Coordinator, Shift Leader (Team Leader at a Reception), Event Coordinator, Leader of a Restaurant, Travel Agency Assistant, Booking Assistant, Project Leader or work in a holiday centre, congress centre, amusement park etc. Application deadline: 1st of April for the September enrolment (later applications welcome, but no guarantee given). Starting dates: September 1st Enrolment procedure: Please contact NOEA for details. Cost of compulsory literature: EUR 670,- (DKK 5000,-) for the entire programme. A special service available for students paying full tuition. ECTS points: 60 per year; 120 for the full programme. Accommodation cost Approx. EUR 267,- (DKK 2000,-) per month at the student hostel.

Cost Include Description:
Nordic students: Free of charge; EU/EEA students: Free of charge; Other students: Tuition fee amounts to ca USD 10 500,- (DKK 65000,-) per year, but NOEA has a very favourable "Special Service Package" for in-coming students;Tuition no-shows are charged EUR 267,- (DKK 2 000,-). Payment deadlines: 1 rate upon reception of the admission letter and 2 rate when the visa is obtained, however no later than August 1 for September enrolment.

For Danish Students: an upper secondary education level or a relevant vocational education with level C in Mathematics or Economics and level A in English.
For non-Danish students: one of the following exams:
a) The International / the European Baccalaureate;
b) High school diploma compatible with the Danish system otherwise the Diploma has to be supplemented with university or college studies; c) Bachelor Degree in relevant subjects from the universities (African countries, India, Pakistan and the Philippines);
d) Other appropriate education found to be acceptable at the discretion of the Academy.
Language proficiency IELTS (with a minimum score of 6.0), TOEFL or a special test/interview at the Academy in Denmark.
