You'll also be amazed at the number of courses available to you. The Faculty of Arts alone has more than 400 subjects in 40 departments. Add to that other popular Faculties like Science, Engineering, and Commerce and Economics and the hardest part will be deciding what to take. The Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad can help you achieve an incomparable study abroad experience at the University of Melbourne, an institution you'll find to be a compelling and motivating venue for your studies abroad. You'll be able to select from a vast array of courses in the arts and sciences, business and economics, education, law, engineering, music, visual and performing arts, agriculture and forestry, architecture, and health sciences. Additionally, internships are available that complement studies in political science, sociology, history, and anthropology. Credits Courses may be selected among various departments. You will earn the following hours of credit:
* Fall and spring semester: 16 credits. * Academic year: 32 credits. Admission Requirements GPA Requirements: 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. You must be in good academic standing and not on disciplinary probation. You need to submit a complete application including a transcript, letter of recommendation, and an advisor's form before your application will be considered.

During the semester, Arcadia's staff will plan excursions and activities designed to expand your understanding of Australian culture and help you integrate into university life. During your studies at the University of Melbourne, you'll become a fully enrolled member of the student body and have the opportunity to experience Australian higher education and student life first-hand.
