Description:
The MHBS concentration is intended for undergraduate and graduate students interested in medicine, nursing, dentistry, physical therapy and other health-related careers. Depending on the program location, this concentration offers the following academic and professional options: * Clinical courses, such as Human Gross Anatomy (in cadaver lab), Operative Surgery and Internal Medicine, etc. * Biomedical science courses, such as Embryology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Histology, etc. * Clinical internships at hospitals and community clinics. * Biomedical research internships. * Foreign language courses, some specializing on medical terminology. * Regional and cultural studies, general education and liberal arts courses to supplement and diversify your experience abroad. As the case with all KEI programs, there is no foreign language requirement. Courses and internships are conducted in English. Students from the host university are invited to join the courses making for a truly international experience.

Students can earn up to 18 academic credits (for courses and internships) during the semester and up to 12 credits during the summer.
