Living and studying in the north west of England, students have plenty of great activities to keep them occupied. Enjoy the Saxon, Celtic, and Norman architecture, explore the lush countryside, or hop a train and spend the day in London, Liverpool, Manchester or Preston.

Highlights: Edge Hill is a co-educational college of arts and sciences accredited by Lancaster University. Ten thousand students in a wide range of subjects are enrolled at Ormskirk and two other campuses. Edge Hill was founded as a teachers college in 1885 in the Edge Hill section of Liverpool. In the 1930s the College moved to its 75-acre campus near the thirteenth century market town of Ormskirk.

The International Education Programs Edge Hill semester is ideal for the undergraduate who wants a real British college experience. International Education Programs students live in single dormitory rooms throughout the campus. You might be the only American student on your dorm floor or in the classroom.

The campus is beautiful but far from the regular tourist stops. You will have a real opportunity to immerse yourself in British student life as well as the local community. International Education Programs student can select from a wide variety of courses offered at Edge Hill College.

Housing
Accommodation is provided in on-campus residence halls with British students and other international students. All students will be housed in single dorm rooms. Meals are included in the cost of accommodation. Bed linens are supplied in most halls, however, students should bring their own towels and personal items.
