Description: The University of Western Australia (UWA) is Western Australia's oldest university and has acquired an international reputation for academic excellence and achievement. The University has a total of over 15,000 students including more than 2,000 international students. UWA is located on the banks of the Swan River in Perth, 3 miles from the Central Business District (CBD). The picturesque 163-acre campus is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Australia, with Mediterranean-style buildings and serene garden landscape. UWA is situated next to a main highway, giving quick and easy access to Perth's CBD, major shopping centers and beaches.

Join Study Australia on an optional tour of the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Queensland July 9 - 16, 2006. After Study Australia's 5-day orientation in Sydney, head up the coast to experiene the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, explore the tropical rainforests and native wildlife, participate in extreme activities such as white water rafting and bungy jumping, and soak up the Australian sun. Then head to your host university to begin your studies. Complete trip details will be available in March. This trip is open to semester participants only.
