QUT offers a large number of courses within many academic disciplines. QUT is located in the heart of the Brisbane city center, alongside the scenic Brisbane River and City Botanic Gardens, two of Brisbane's most famous landmarks. Brisbane is one of Australia's most beautiful regions offering a blend of chic lifestyles, vibrant cultural life, a subtropical climate, and access to some of the most beautiful natural features in Australia. QUT was Australia's inaugural winner of the Good Universities Guide's 'University of the Year' award for Teaching and Learning. Today, the University continues to develop its teaching and research in ways that will benefit our local and international communities. Many QUT staff members have either worked overseas or have obtained international qualifications. With more than 150 years of university teaching experience behind them, they have established long-standing close relationships with employers and professions. These partnerships keep the University's teaching and research relevant to industry needs.
