Australia
Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring
Dates: See website.
Description:
Monash University, established in 1961, is now Australia's largest university. With enrollment over 45,000 students including at least 10,000 international students from over 100 countries Monash offers a diverse learning atmosphere. Monash offers Study Australia students two campus options in Melbourne, both linked by a free shuttle bus service. Clayton is the University's largest campus, with approximately 20,000 students, and offers a tranquil setting, yet easy access to downtown Melbourne just 12 miles away. Caulfield is a more urban campus and minutes from downtown Melbourne by train. Students can take courses at either campus. Study Australia offers students the chance to travel throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji before heading to their host campus. These optional trips provide the comfort of a group atmosphere along with trained guides from highly reputable tour providers that specialize in student travel. Fall Semester participants can choose between two tour options. Bond University participants may join Study Australia on a 4-day Fiji Island Adventure. Other Fall semester participants can explore the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Queensland. Spring Semester participants can participate on three additional pre-semester trips. Students can explore the natural wonders and extreme activities on a 7-day venture through the South Island of New Zealand. Surf through a 6-day trip from Sydney to Byron Bay stopping at some of the most pristine beaches in Australia. Explore Tropical Far North Queensland and the city of Cairns, where the reef meets the rainforest, on this 7-day trip.
