Description:
CET's Hangzhou Summer Immersion Program is an innovative program open to intermediate and advanced Chinese students and is offered for six weeks during the summer. Designed for graduates, professionals, and serious undergraduates, it offers a unique curriculum unlike any other on the Chinese mainland. The program is based at CET's center at Zhejiang University of Technology, which houses the C.V. Starr-Middlebury School in China throughout the academic year. A recently renovated dormitory, along with ZUT's library, cafeterias and newly completed gymnasium offer students ideal facilities for language study. Outside of the classroom, students can take advantage of the environment that this famous Chinese city provides, including mountains, museums, temples and beautiful West Lake.

CET Academic Programs's Mission Statement: CET Academic Programs is a private study abroad organization based in Washington, DC that has been designing and administering educational programs abroad since 1982. We offer study abroad programs in China, Vietnam, the Czech Republic, Italy and Spain. CET's programs specialize in integrating students into the society in which they are living. Each program is a model in student-centered learning, in which students are constantly challenged to contextualize their studies within the society that surrounds them. Staffed by over 20 full-time employees in the US and abroad, CET currently sends more than 700 American students abroad annually.
