Students study at one of Griffith's five campus locations: Gold Coast, Logan, Mt. Gravatt, Nathan, and South Bank (Queensland College of Art). Each campus offers a wide range of courses, provides study abroad students with academic and personal support, and gives students the opportunity to participate in various clubs and activities. Queensland, known as the "Sunshine State", averages 300 days of sunshine a year. The capital, Brisbane, with a population of approximately 1.5 million people, is located in the southeast corner of the state and is a beautiful, cosmopolitan city with the perfect mix of "hustle and bustle" and relaxed outdoor living.
Highlights:
The Gold Coast (pop. 400,000), about 50 miles southeast of Brisbane, is one of the most multicultural cities in the world. It is a popular holiday destination, offering international cuisines, a wide range of cultural entertainment, cinemas, local and international theater, theme parks, and sporting facilities. At the same time, it maintains its original natural beauty with sandy beaches, national parks, and wildlife sanctuaries.
