England
Term: Fall, Spring, Summer
Dates: Fall: September - December, Spring: January - June, Summer: June - July
Description:
The history, culture, daily life and nightlife make London one of the world's great cities and an exciting place to be a student. During the year, USAC students can select classes at the London Metropolitan University including Art and Design, Business, Marketing, Economics, English, History, Social Sciences and Psychology. The five-week summer program combines academic coursework with the opportunity to live in London. Students can choose courses in theater, art, or history. Courses are enhanced with field trips to museums, theater performances, and sites of historical and cultural interest. The city has some of the finest libraries and museums in the world, ranging from the long established British Museum and Natural history Museum to the more recent Museum of the Moving Image and new British Library. Furthermore, the variety of entertainment is almost unimaginable. For example, you can attend classical music, jazz, or rock concerts, attend "legitimate" or "fringe" theater performances, go to the opera, get a bird's eye view of the city by riding the "London eye" built by British Air for the Millennium celebration, and attend international sporting events.
