Description: Our language school is located in one of the city's liveliest and most fashionable areas. Our experienced team of teachers ensure a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in which to pursue your Spanish studies. As a student you will benefit from well equipped classrooms, a modern language laboratory, internet access, reading areas, and air-conditioning! On your first day at school, we will test your language knowledge and assign you to the correct study level.

EF's excellent teachers hold specialist qualifications in the teaching of their own language to non-native speakers. They will provide 20 to 30 language lessons per week plus supervised self access study periods. Preparation for the DELE is also available. All year round we offer you the chance to stay with an EF host family where you can enjoy home cooking, local hospitality and the opportunity to use your Spanish. From July to mid-September, you can stay in Residence Sant Jordi which is just ten minutes from the school.

Here you'll be part of an international student community in a building specially equipped for students; you will find a library, study rooms, internet access, gym, launderette, snack bar, restaurant, and film theater. For a small fee, you can use the university's sports complex. It is a wonderful place to swim, work out, play racket sports and meet Spanish students! A full program of social and sports activities, free of charge or at special EF group rates will keep you busy throughout your stay in Barcelona.

EF provides students with placement and progress tests along with comprehensive pre-departure material to ensure that you maximize your improvement during your stay. Learn Spanish in Spain with EF!

Highlights: Courses start every Monday of the year so there is bound to be one that fits with your academic, personal, or professional commitments. Programs can be designed ranging from 2 weeks to a year and our staff will match you up with the course that best accommodates your needs.

Host families are recommended and available for those who want to be more fully immersed in the native culture and language. Your fellow students will be from countries as far apart as Finland, Chile, Indonesia, and Portugal. Together you learn, explore, have fun, and speak your study language day in, day out. We also offer summer internships and total immersion programs!
