Description:
This program emphasizes English-taught courses (and internships) in international business, marketing, finance, management, economics, commerce law, foreign policy, and international relations. Undergraduate and graduate courses are available. The host institution is ESEI Business School. Founded in 1989, ESEI is a private institution of higher learning that offers an international business curriculum combined with Spanish language and culture courses. ESEI faculty come from Europe and abroad, bringing together diverse knowledge and experience.

Host Institution: As one of Spain's leading independent international business schools, ESEI is internationally renowned for its practical approach to contemporary business and management education. Through close lecturer-student contact and small groups of students in every class, ESEI provides interactive teaching and quality academic programs to meet students' individual needs. Lecturers are drawn from around the world and bring with them considerable international business experience. Courses are based upon the case study method, and provide participants with a practical, hands-on problem solving approach to contemporary issues in their field(s) of study. Curriculum: Students select from a wide offering of English-taught courses, and can also do an internship for credit. This program emphasizes courses in international business, marketing, finance, management, economics, foreign policy, commerce law, diplomacy and European relations. Courses in information systems, communications, public relations, e-business, hospitality/tourism management, transportation/logistics management, and Spanish language (at all levels) are also available. Coursework is complemented with professional visits and optional internships at local businesses, governing bodies, and social agencies. Living: Students live in shared (furnished) apartments, located in the central district of Barcelona near the ESEI campus. Excursions: The program includes excursions in Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Seville, and other destinations in Spain.

Cost Include Description:
KEI programs include college and/or graduate credit, internship placement and supervision, centrally-located accommodations, comprehensive medical/travel insurance, On-Site Coordinator, orientation, airport welcome and transfer, mobile phone and access to Internet, and cultural excursions in Spain. The summer program is 8 weeks in length.
