Description: The C.L.I. Dante Alighieri was founded in 1966. The school is specialized in teaching the language and culture of Italy to foreigners. We have courses for everyone in both group and individual courses, all year around. Courses are structured in 9 levels, each level lasts 4 weeks and it's possible to attend the school for any length of time between 2 weeks and 9 months. Maximum number of students per class: 10/13. Our cultural courses last for 4 weeks, the aim is to give the students a serious introduction into the masterpieces of Italian art and literature as well as a panorama of the varied Italian life. Courses offered: Literature, Art, History, Cinema, Socio-political panorama and Italian cooking!

Highlights: The C.L.I. Dante Alighieri has two schools: in Florence and Rome. The school in Florence has two locations in the historical city centre, one next to the Old Bridge and the second in the very central Piazza della Repubblica, a step away from the Duomo.

The School uses its own teaching methods, text books and general teaching material. At the end of the course, it is possible to attend the Exam for the Italian language knowledge called: "CLIDA S", or for Italian for Business called: "CLIDA TC". C.L.I Dante Alighieri is one of the few private institutes in Italy operating under the authorization of the Italian Ministry of Public Education and is recognized by:
