Description:
The University of South Australia (UniSA) with 24,000 students is the largest university in South Australia. A rich multidisciplinary history has created an institution that has made its distinctive mark on the Australian higher education landscape. The strengths of the arts and sciences, technology and the humanities have complemented one another, providing the basis for innovative joint degrees which enable today's students to become the broadly based graduates required by the next century. South Australia, the festival state of Australia, is about the same size as the state of Texas but has a population of just 1.2 million. Adelaide is the capital of South Australia. The gently undulating Adelaide hills to the east provide a beautiful backdrop for the city and offer great opportunities to enjoy the national parks and Australian wildlife.
