Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world. IES Rome is designed primarily for students with little or no Italian who are interested in studying the Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology, and the Fine Arts in Rome in an Italian atmosphere. IES is located at LUISS, the Libera University Internazionale degli Studi Sociali, a private university associated with Confindustria, the principal national association for manufacturers and service industries in Italy. LUISS offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Business, Communications, Economics, Law and International Relations. The University is located in the Nomentana district, an attractive residential area in northeast Rome, which is easily accessible to the historical center of Rome. You will have access to the facilities of LUISS such as the library and computer rooms and may participate in activities such as sports clubs with Italian students. IES also cooperates closely with the Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA), a private university for fine and applied arts students.
