Description:
This 5 week program is designed for students interested in European business, diplomacy, cultures, art, architecture, history and languages. This program includes extensive excursions in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Bruges, Brussels, Geneva, London, Luxemburg, Paris, Prague, and Vienna. Professors and staff from the International Management Institute (IMI), located in Brussels, teach all courses and travel with the group. Approximately half the program is based in Brussels on IMI's campus, and half is spent traveling in Europe. The entire program is conducted in English. Students earn 6 college credits for the following 2 courses:(1) European Union Seminar, and (2) European Language course (at the appropriate level, French, German, Spanish, Dutch or Italian).
Highlights:
Objective: The European Capitals Program gives students the opportunity to learn about the European Union, European culture, business, politics and languages in their natural environment and become immersed in the European society through coursework and travel to the economic, political and historic centers in Europe. Host Institution, IMI/Brussels: The program is based at the International Management Institute (IMI) in Brussels, Belgium. IMI is recognized as the leading business, diplomacy and language school in Belgium. The city of Brussels is the economic and political capital of Europe, with the European Commission, European Parliament, European Investment Bank and NATO located in close proximity to the IMI campus. Belgium has 3 official languages - French, German and Dutch - making it the perfect base for this European program. Travel Itinerary: This 5-week summer program includes excursions in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Bruges, Brussels, Geneva, London, Luxemburg, Paris, Prague, and Vienna. Living: While in Belgium (half of the 5-week program), students live in furnished apartments maintained by IMI in central Brussels. During the European travel excursions, students live in hotel accommodations (typically double occupancy).

Cost Include Description:
The tuition for this 5-week Summer program is $6,350. The program includes academics, up to 6 college credits, accommodations, on-site support, mobile phone, comprehensive medical and travel insurance, airport pick-up, extensive field trips and sightseeing, and cultural and professional excursions in Europe.
