Description:
This program emphasizes courses and internships in Russian and East European business, economics, politics, and legal studies. Students earn up to 19 credits per semester of study. All courses are taught by MSU professors, in the English language. Internships are also available; students planning to participate in an internship should have a general knowledge about the selected industry.
Highlights:
Host Institution: Moscow State University, founded in 1755, is the most important scientific, cultural and educational center in Russia, and one of the leading academic institutions in the world. In the rating-list of Europe's leading Universities (Gourman Report, National Education Standards, USA) MSU comes in second place. The University enrolls 40,000 undergraduates and graduates from Russia and abroad. MSU teach all KEI courses. Curriculum: Students enrolled on this program must take the following 3 English-taught courses (worth 3 credits each): - Russian Language course, - One "EBLD" core course (minimum), - Russian Studies Seminar. Students then select from numerous English-taught courses at MSU. Internships can also be arranged, in the English language, for credit. EBLD students earn up to 17 credits per semester. Living: Students live at the main MSU dormitory, in single-occupancy rooms that are part of a two-room suite with a living area and bathroom. Student activities include sports, academic clubs and social gatherings with Russian and other international students. Moscow has a thriving nightlife full of theaters, nightclubs and cultural events. Excursions: The program includes sightseeing and cultural excursions in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novgorod. These three cities hold special historical, cultural and architectural significance and share the honor of serving as Russia's capital at some point in its history.

Cost Include Description:
Tuition for the 5-week summer program = $4,995; the 10-week summer program = $6,775; fall or spring semester = $8,950; Academic Year (Fall and Spring semesters) = $17,720. Tuition includes all academic fees (up to 20 college or graduate credits), internships, textbooks, single-room accommodations, airport welcome and transportation in Moscow, on-site support, travel and medical coverage, and extensive sightseeing in Russia. All forms of federal, state and local financial aid and scholarship awards can be used to pay program tuition.
