Description:
Study intensive Italian language in Florence, a city that is a living museum filled with the works of famous painters, sculptors and architects, for one, two, and/or three months in June, July, and/or August and earn 6 credits per month. No previous knowledge of the Italian language is required. Italian language courses are offered at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. A 2.5 GPA or better is required. Scuola Lorenzo de'Medici - The Art Institute of Florence, the host institution for the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS) program in Florence, is located in the heart of the city. Students live in furnished apartments or residential hotels with other US and international students. Apartments are equipped with kitchens and there is a wide selection of restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes in the vicinity.
