Description:
Earn 12-16 credits studying Italian language and a variety of liberal arts and studio art courses in Florence, a city that is a living museum filled with the works of famous painters, sculptors and architects. Courses such as history, political science, art history, painting, drawing, etching, graphic design, illustration, photography, restoration, and sculpture are taught in English. Italian language courses are offered at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Lorenzo de'Medici - The Art Institute of Florence, the host institution for the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS) program in Florence, is located in the heart of the city. Students live in furnished apartments with other US and international students. Apartments are equipped with kitchens and there is a wide selection of restaurants, pizzerias, and cafýs in the vicinity.
