Description:
Study Italian language and a wide-variety of subjects in Rome, a city known for international relations and international business. Study in June and earn 3 or 6 credits. No previous knowledge of the Italian language is required. Courses such as environmental science, computer science, history, digital imaging, filmmaking, drama, communications, management, product development, international relations and art history are taught in English. Italian language courses are offered at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. A 2.5 GPA or better is required for this program. The American University of Rome (AUR) is the host institution for the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS) program in Rome. AUR, located on the prestigious Janiculum Hill, just minutes from a wealth of educational and cultural resources in Rome's historic center, is a small school with approximately 450 students enrolled during the semester and few students in the summer.
