Join World Endeavors for a semester or full-academic year in one of the greatest cities in the world. You will earn academic credit while studying alongside Australian and other international students at Macquarie University. You will have the opportunity to travel to an exciting destination with friendly people. You will experience an amazing countryside, unique wildlife and flora, sensational beaches, lakes, rivers and mountains and cities that pulse with life and energy. Choose from a full range of academic courses, cultural experiences and social activities. Students can choose to participate in internships, or to get involved in the local community through the volunteer program. Social activities range from beach days and football games to harbour cruises and weekend trips.
Highlights:
Sydney is situated on the southeast coast of Australia and it is the capital of the state of New South Wales. It has grown from a small colony of 1,000 people in Sydney Cove, to the largest city in Australia with a population of approximately 4 million. Sydney has the world's largest suburban area, making the city almost twice the size of Beijing and six times the size of Rome. Sydney is located on a magnificent natural harbour, with the famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House adorning the skyline. Sydney is a cosmopolitan and multicultural city with something for everyone!
