Full Curriculum Studies: Hiroshima, Japan

Highlights: Hiroshima is an amazing city rich in history that offers many opportunities for students to become involved in the culture. Students may take part in a local sake festival, a trip to Miyajima Island, a school visit and a rice harvesting experience. Students can also study the Japanese language, as we offer 5 levels of Japanese. The best part is that no previous language coursework is required! The city has a remarkable landscape as seen in the picturesque mountains that are ever changing with the four seasons and its six rivers that flow through it. Hiroshima offers a marvelous opportunity to study Peace Studies as they are one of the world's leading centers advocating peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons.
