Description:
This is a four-week summer program, providing students with the opportunity to do field research on one of the most compelling topics in the social sciences and in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Donostia (also known as San Sebastian) lies in the north of Spain on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and in the heart of the Basque country. By conducting research in Donastia and in nearby towns and villages (in Spain or France), students learn about one of the world's oldest ethnic nationalist movements.
