***This Program is NOT Offered Until at Least Summer*** China is one of the world's most fascinating countries. Long hidden behind the impenetrable screen of its 'Bamboo Curtain', it is now opening to the outside world at breakneck speed. This course includes an intensive two-week trip taking students to many historically, economically, and politically significant locations across China. As part of the program, students will meet with representatives of the U.S. government in China as well as with Chinese government officials and academics.
Highlights:
Six(6) undergraduate credits in Political Science or International Relations may be earned by participants in this program. For further questions contact the Center for International Programs at SUNY New Paltz. Qualifications: (The program is offered to students attending American accredited universities and colleges) The program is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors with good academic standing. Course will be offered at the 300 level. Language of Instruction: All guided tours and lectures will be conducted in English. Housing: Accommodations will be in hotels, campuses and a cruise ship. Financial Aid: Students may apply for financial aid at their home campus financial aid office. Financial aid deferrals may be applied toward tuition and program fee only.
