Description:
ISA programs in Reading, England, are all-inclusive (with the exception of airfare). The University of Reading is an accredited university and issues all transcripts. Although the English academic year consists of three trimesters, students may participate in combinations of one to three terms. Program participants take classes with local students within any university department. The University of Reading will host an orientation upon arrival and pre-trip and on-site academic advising will be offered. Experience the thrill of living abroad while earning college credit in one of England's most beautiful cities. Reading, situated halfway between London and Oxford on the River Thames, is a great place to study abroad in England! Though Reading dates back several centuries, the city is alive with student activity. Getting around Reading is particularly convenient with most of the main attractions within walking distance of each other. A great local bus system and a central railway station offer fantastic service throughout the region as well. London is only a 20 minute train ride away!

All classes are held and taught by faculty from the host university. * Optional Excursions: ISA students will have the opportunity to go on excursions offered by the University of Reading. * Room and Board: ISA students live in dorms with local students and have a meal plan. * Airport Reception: Provided for students who arrive during the specified times. * Medical Insurance: Medical insurance is provided for the official period of the program. Medical insurance extensions are also available for an additional cost. * Internet Access: Available on campus.
