Description: Cannes is a sunny, former fishing village perched on the Mediterranean shoreline. Renowned for its artistic community and its international festivals, Cannes combines the cosmopolitan aura of a small city with the relaxed attitude of a seaside resort. At College International de Cannes, AIFS students take classes taught in both French and English in art history, drama, French cinema, literature, political science, and sociology, plus French language.

Internship opportunities:
The Collège can arrange placements in a wide range of public organizations and private companies depending on your academic major, interests and suitability. French proficiency at the 300 level is required. Typical internships include a minimum eight hours of work a week with local government and housing projects. Internships may also be with local television, youth clubs, hospitals or the Cannes festival hall.

AIFS Study Abroad in Cannes, France

Highlights: The University campus has modern facilities, situated within walking distance to the Old Port and city center. Enjoy a cup of coffee at many local cafes or enjoy an art exhibit at a local museum.

AIFS students live in College residence halls, and some meals at the College cafeteria are included. Cultural activities include museum visits, theater performances, sports and excursions. Spring students receive a pass to the Cannes Film Festival and free entrance to screenings. Excursions include a 3-day visit to London, visits to Provence and Paris, and an optional 3-day visit to Florence.
