England
Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring
Dates: August - May (Academic Year), August - December (Fall Semester), January - May (Spring Semester)
Description:
An exciting and easily maneuverable European city, London is a major political, financial and cultural center, graced with more parks and gardens than any other capital in the world. Courses in numerous disciplines make it easy to fulfill graduation requirements, and because Richmond, the American International College in London is American accredited, credit transfer is easy. AIFS students take courses from a wide variety of subjects, includuing art and art history, business administration and economics, communications, literature, history, social sciences, and theater arts. The program fees include the basics and the extras: tuition, housing, some meals, excursions and cultural activities, airfare if selected, a trip to Paris, and more.
Highlights:
Students live in residence halls (Kensington campus offers junior and senior housing and Richmond Hill campus offers freshmen and sophomore housing), with 10 meals per week at the Richmond cafeteria included in the fee. Cultural activities may include a performance at Shakespeares re-constructed Globe Theatre, a trip on the London Eye for an aerial view of the city, film evenings, a trip to an English soccer game, a visit to the ballet, a walking tour of Royal London, and much more. Students benefit from the multicultural faculty and student body; students from over 100 different nations enrich classroom discussions, creating a truly international experience.
