Summer Course: 5 - 29 July 2010. Complete your portfolio with the influence of Italian Fashion Specialist. Students who are just beginning in the fashion field and those who already have studied or possess work experience will benefit from this course. Before starting the students should decide with the teacher what kind of program is appropriate for them.

Fashion Design: Drawing Techniques: Coloring Technique - Color Theory - Color rendering - Personal sketching style. Collection: Creativeness - Fashion collection on demand - Components of a collection (combining creativity, design, technique and the market) - Planning a collection - Designing a personal collection (based on an individual theme).

Pattern Making: Techniques: Alta Moda (Haute-Couture), Tailor Sewing Techniques, Industrial Sewing Methods, Planning Techniques. Pattern Making: Pattern making - Pattern lay-out - Finishing Touch - Machine Sewing.

Istituto di Moda Burgo has been carrying out this activity in the elegant heart of Milan, in prestigious Via S.Andrea, Via della Spiga, Via Montenapoleone, the most exclusive fashion center in the world. All the rooms of the school are equipped with modern and always new instruments that the students, once the course is over, will find in the fashion industry.

We have a wonderful cooperation with the most famous griffe like Dolce & Gabbana, Krizia, Armani, Gucci, Gianfranco Ferra and others. The professional courses offered at our institute are in the vanguard of fashion thanks to the teaching materials continuously brought up to date by our experts in the fashion field with the collaboration of most important firm in the technical coloring, like Letraset, Caran D'ache and Royal Talens ecc. The materials consist of curved drawing lines and books (bilingual Italian-English) introducing concepts of sketching, coloring technique, pattern making and other fashion design related techniques. This material is free to our students.

Highlights: Classes will be held in English (with no more of 10 participants for class). These lessons are conducted on an individual basis, in which each student is privately instructed. Thanks to our concise and structured method of teaching, we can offer a significant and complete experience in a short period of time. It is also possible to choose a different special summer course for Jewelry design, Shoes design, Underwear, Accessories, Beach wear, Theatre Costume and Wedding Dress.
