Description: Marbella Design Academy is the only State Recognized International Design Academy in Spain by the Spanish Ministry of Education-Junta de Andalucia CODE number: 29016884. Students can therefore obtain grants from their home countries to study at our Academy. It´s important to point out that we are the ONLY international design Academy in Spain that is state recognized.

As the we have just received our State Recognition and CODE number we have been informed it can take up to 15 October 2009 before our CODE number and the Marbella Design Academy is listed at the list for State Recognised institutions in Spain. Our academy will be listed at the website from the Ministry of Education-Junta de Andalucia in Spain, CODE number: 29016884 or Name: Marbella Design Academy Costa del Sol, from 15th October 2009 we should be listed with all details.

The Academy is constantly progressing and adapting to the latest within design and technology. The mission of the institution is to provide a stimulating and complete design education, that lives up to the latest market demands, leading to a rewarding and well sought after profession with a near 100% employment rate among graduated students.

The aim is to develop all the necessary skills needed for the students to solve a wide variety of real life design challenges faced by professional designers today.

The students are taught to a BA Degree level and above using industry standard computer applications such as: AutoCad, 3D Studio Max, Director, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver etc. Advanced skills in these programs is a necessary factor for students to find future employment. The Academy help the students present their projects professionally and prepare them with all the skills needed to become among the World's top new designers and to support and develop individual creativity and nurture artistic skills.

The Academy prepare the students for the increasing demands of the market with respect to quality of presentation, economics, style, aesthetics and psychology relating to the design environment.

The graduated students at the Marbella Design Academy have so fare an employment rate near 100%. At the Marbella Design Academy you will receive an unforgettable learning experience and in Monda (3min walk away) and Marbella (15km away) a lively and safe student life. The living costs are low in Monda. A furnished 3 bedroom house cost around 500 Euros a month. The students normally share and pay around 200 Euros each per month. Monda is a beautiful and secure place to live and to study.

The students come from all over the World which gives the academy a very special cross-cultural friendly atmosphere.

Tuition is given in small classes and in one to one sessions by the teachers and industry professionals alike, beside special invited famous guest lecturer within the industry.

Sunny Spain is a great place to study. The Students are inspired by the beautiful surroundings and architecture. There are many possibilities for outdoor leisure pursuits as Southern Spain has the best weather in Europe with 330 sunny days a year.

Study hours: All students - 9.00 to 16.00, 5 days per week. A 50min lunch break is included.

The student restaurant GAUDI serves healthy and excellent 5 star meals for only 5 Euros.

The courses starts twice a year: In the beginning of January and in the middle of September.
